This is our personally designed production company logo. We created this in 3 separate stages. My task was to create the main image which consists of pants. Our reasoning behind our chosen Item is our very distant idea of a superhero film. From this we chose the stereotypical item of clothing superheros wear. Y-fronts over there costume.
My first task was to research into different styles of Y-fronts and design my own. Due to copyright laws we decided to draw our own logo picture in paint.
We added the eyes for a personal touch and to make the logo more enjoyable for all age ranges as we plan to produce nothing over the rating of 15. I am personally really impressed with the outcome of the image considering the program in which created.
Mel's job was to create the text to place over the image. To do this we went on a font generating site. "http://www.flamingtext.com/" we chose the font that we felt represents us a team well and also one which wouldn't contrast with the image we created for our company. The next task was to transfer the lettering into an editing program'gimp' so that we could remove the background allowing it to be placed over the image without obscuring it.
Lastly we put together our individual contributes to produce the final product also including the world 'Productions' at the bottom to enforce the serious aspect of our company and so the viewer knows what area of work we will be dealing in. The seriousness of our company is enforced behind the colour and font 'Calibri' of this section of text.
