My Chosen Brief

The brief I have selected for my A2 work consists of constructing a promotion package for a new film. This is to include a teaser trailer, a magazine front cover and a poster for extra advertisement. I have teamed up with another student within the class who has chosen the identical brief -Melanie Ould. We both exceled within our AS coursework and I feel combining our ideas and vast range of technical skills together we can produce these final pieces to an outstanding and professional result.

Because the both of us being female we thought an interesting place to start our research is to look into female directors or predominantly female generated film production companies. This will give us some idea of the stereotype of female film and whether we interest in following our stereotype and entering down that route of production.
